Subsection TAAP: Textbook Affordability and Access Program
Course materials are available through TAAP (Textbook Affordability and Access Program). Log into your portal through uccs.textbookx.com. You can review your personalized value sheet within your portal to see if TAAP benefits you. There is the option to TAAP out if the program does not fit your needs.
TAAP Materials Pick-Up:
Digital course materials are generally accessed through Canvas.
Physical course materials can be picked up at the Campus Store unless you opted for home delivery.

Subsection Technology Requirements
This course requires the use of a UCCS email account, a computer/laptop, and a reliable internet connection. Review the UCCS Online Technical Requirements for exact specifications. Communication will be by UCCS email and Canvas. If your UCCS email is not your primary address, consider forwarding your UCCS email address to another account you check often. All official course information must be sent through your UCCS account or Canvas.

(We will be meeting in a computer lab, so it’s okay if you don’t have a personal computer -- you can use a computer in our classroom. But you are still expected to check email/Canvas regularly.)
Subsection Technology Competencies
You are expected to begin this course with basic computing skills that include using Canvas, Microsoft Word, accessing online research databases, and corresponding using your UCCS email.
